This session will examine the multi-layered paths a person may choose to engage in the arts. An overview of self-regulation, sensory and cognitive processing, relational dynamics, and creative ideation and exploration, as it relates to neurodivergence, will ground educators in decision making rather than a checklist approach to arts accessibility and inclusion. Guiding principles and examples of potential engagement methods will be discussed. Participants will generate ideas and strategies and share during the session.
